Fans celebrate as Heat head to NBA Finals

MIAMI (WSVN) -- Fired up fans celebrated all night long after the Heat won the Eastern Conference Finals in Game 7 against the Boston Celtics, sending them to the NBA Championship.
Miami Heat fans took to the streets outside of the American Airlines Arena on Saturday night as the Heat clinched a spot in the NBA Finals.
The white hot excitement dribbled across South Florida as fans in Hialeah brought out pots and pans.
The same type of celebration tipped-off in the intersection of Southwest 40th Street and 87th Avenue. "Oh my God, it was awesome!" said one woman. "Let's go Heat!"
A 7News viewer captured a video of baseball fans at Marlins Park who watched the Heat win on a big screen outside the stadium, then began their own celebration.
7News viewer Jessi O'Neill sent in a photo of a pre-street celebration inside his home after the Heat won.
Now, it's on to Oklahoma to show the Thunder that the Heat players and fans are on fire. "Let's go Heat! Heat all the way!" said one man.
Games 1 and 2 of the NBA Finals will be in Oklahoma City. Game 3, the first game at AAA for the NBA Finals, will be on Sunday June 17.
