Heat players get shout outs in hit songs

MIAMI (WSVN) -- Popular music mentions the Miami Heat players in their lyrics.
Sports and music were made for each other. The two are interacting throughout every sporting event.
The Miami Heat can attest, especially since the team and their superstars are mentioned in music quite a bit. "It goes hand in hand, what we do is like music and its vise versa. The way we play, the way we bounce, the way we movie and cut through the pain, and a dunk is poetry in motion," said LeBron James.
Jay-Z and Kanye West have mentioned the Heat the most, so much so that one of their tracks has become Miami's newest player intro. "I wish I could sing. God did not give me that ability. Everybody wants to be somebody different," said Dwayne Wade.
"When you've been in the league over 40 years and been around the greatest player in the league, that goes with the territory," said Pat Riley. "I'm very fortunate."
So how do the Heat feel about being spotlighted on so many tracks? "It's humbling," said James. "Honestly, to hear so many artists mention your name lyrics, it's humbling. You hear them and your name."
