Heat closing in, lead Thunder 95-71 in Game 5
MIAMI (AP) -- Chris Bosh had 22 points to lead six Miami Heat players in double figures, LeBron James added 19 and the Miami Heat closed in on the NBA championship by taking a 95-71 lead over the Oklahoma City Thunder after three quarters in Game 5 of the Finals on Thursday night.
Mike Miller had 18 points, Dwyane Wade scored 13, Shane Battier 11 and Mario Chalmers 10 for Miami. The Heat outscored the Thunder by 14 points in the third, and were 12 for 21 from 3-point range in the first 36 minutes.
Kevin Durant scored 26 points and Russell Westbrook added 19 for the Thunder, who were within five points early in the third before the Heat turned the game into a runaway.
