Former UM baseball player under steroid suspicion

MIAMI (WSVN) -- A former University of Miami baseball player has been added to the list of names linked to a Coral Gables clinic currently under investigation.

Reports say the 2011 National League MVP, Ryan Braun, was treated with performance enhancing drugs at least three times at the Biogenesis Clinic. Braun's people said the doctor who works there was only hired as a consultant.

The clinic's owner has a history prescribing steroids.

Other players have been linked to the clinic, including South Florida native, Alex Rodriguez.

Braun was under steroid suspicion last year but had a 50-game suspension overturned.
