WSVN -- From storm coordinates, to school closings, access to vital information before, during, and after a storm is just a click or tap away.

Download the free 7News app available for iPhone, android, and select blackberry devices. You'll find everything you need to know when a storm threatens South Florida. Information like closures, cancellations and conditions in your area.

The 7Weather app will display the latest storm models from the National Hurricane Center. And if a storm strikes (or hits) use the interactive radar to track severe cells right down to your neighborhood.

Want the same great information, but prefer a larger picture? Download the 7iPad app.

Don't forget www.wsvn.com. It's the place to  track the tropics.

There's hurricane hunter data, a blog with analysis by chief meteorologist Phil Ferro and the 7Weather team, and even live streaming newscasts available on your laptop or cell phone, so you can take 7News wherever you go.

Plus, don't forget to sign up for 7's cone on your phone to get text alerts on the storm's projected path and any watches or warnings posted for South Florida.

7's web center will also harness the power of social media, to keep you connected and engaged during an emergency. On Facebook we'll update the storm's status. And follow us on Twitter for tweets on power outages, hard hit areas, and important numbers.

But information is not a one-way-street. If you can do so safely, snap pictures or video of storm damage and "send it to 7." Your images may be re-tweeted, posted on Facebook or used on the air.

With information at a premium during a weather emergency stay locked in to 7News.
