NATO raises Afghan death toll in bombing to 3
KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) -- NATO says the death toll from a bomb in northern Afghanistan has risen to three service members.
NATO provided no other details about Wednesday's attack and did not disclose nationalities. But Associated Press video from the scene of a suicide attack in Maimanah, the capital of northern Faryab province, shows what appear to be dead Afghan police, civilians and foreign troops at the explosion site.
Afghan officials said a suicide bomber on a motorcycle killed at least 10 people, including four police officers and six civilians, in that attack.
