Gadhafi ex-spokesman denies arrest in recording
TRIPOLI, Libya (AP) -- A man purported to be Moammar Gadhafi's former spokesman has issued an audio recording denying that he has been captured and saying he is outside Libya.
Saturday's recording posted on Moussa Ibrahim's Facebook page dismissed government claims that he was detained outside the besieged Libyan city of Bani Walid.
The interim prime minister's office said in a statement that Ibrahim, who became the international face of the regime in its final months, had been captured as he was trying to flee Bani Walid.
The audio recording could not immediately be verified.
