Pakistani killed in car crash with US diplomat
ISLAMABAD (AP) -- The U.S. Embassy in Islamabad says one of its diplomats was in a traffic accident that resulted in the death of a Pakistani civilian.
The embassy said in a statement on Friday that the accident happened on Thursday evening in the Pakistani capital. It said the employee's vehicle collided with a motorcycle carrying two Pakistani citizens, injuring both men.
One of the men later died from his injuries. The second is receiving medical treatment.
The U.S. expressed its condolences to the families of the men and said it was working with Pakistani authorities on the investigation.
