Yoani Sanchez leaves Cuba on 80-day tour

HAVANA, Cuba (WSVN) -- Well known Cuban blogger and dissident Yoani Sanchez left Cuba Sunday.

Sanchez said she's been refused an exit permit for years because of her high-profile criticism of the Castro government.

So far she's the most well-known Cuban opposition figure to test looser restrictions on leaving the communist island.

Sanchez is heading to Brazil first, on an 80-day tour of at least 10 countries, including Mexico and the U.S.
