BAGHDAD (AP) -- Iraqi officials say two bombs, including one attached to the underside of a bus, have killed four people in a western suburb of Baghdad.

Police officials said three people were killed and three others were wounded when a so-called sticky bomb hidden underneath the bus exploded around noon on Monday. The bus had just left a station in the Abu Ghraib area.

Also in Abu Ghraib, police say a roadside bomb exploded on a police patrol, killing one police officer and wounding two others.

The two attacks are evidence that while violence has ebbed in Iraq, insurgent attacks are still frequent.

Medics in nearby hospital confirmed the casualties.

All officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to brief reporters.
