Fire in Brazil building fills Sao Paulo skyline with smoke
SAO PAULO, Brazil (AP) -- Brazilian media are reporting that a fire in a crowded neighborhood is sending plumes of black smoke over the skyline.
Globo TV footage shows a raging fire and smoke rising above a crowded line of apartment buildings near Sao Paulo's Congonhas airport.
Initial reports said Tuesday's fire may have been caused by a plane crash, but airport authorities could not confirm that report.
