General Assignment Reporter

This is Alex DiPrato's second stop at 7News.   He got his start at WSVN as an intern while studying at the University of Miami.   He then worked behind the scenes as a writer and associate producer before leaving for his first reporting job at the ABC station in Tallahassee, Florida.   Alex then spent three years in Providence, Rhode Island reporting and anchoring at the CBS/FOX duopoly where he covered everything from snowstorms to the death of Senator Ted Kennedy. 

 In July of 2011, Alex re-joined 7News as a reporter.  He grew up in Broward County and is happy to call Florida home once again!
