KEY WEST, FLA. (WSVN) - Key West International Airport closed for one hour after, officials said, a single-engine plane veered off the runway during takeoff, Saturday afternoon.

The four-seat aircraft was heading to Fort Lauderdale with a pilot and two passengers aboard. The plane came to rest at the edge of a safety area and at the edge of a salt marsh.

No one was hurt.

The Federal Aviation Administration and Florida Highway Patrol are investigating the accident.
