LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- Louisville used a six-run seventh inning to top Miami 6-4 on Saturday and advance to the Louisville regional final in the NCAA baseball tournament.
The Cardinals (48-12) will face either Miami or Oklahoma State in Sunday's regional final.
The final score didn't indicate how much of a pitchers' duel the game was, with only one player for each team reaching third base against Miami's Bryan Radziewski and Louisville's Jeff Thompson through the first six innings.
The Hurricanes (37-24) broke the scoreless tie in the top of the sixth when David Thompson's single scored Tyler Palmer from second.
Louisville managed its first three runs in the seventh on two bases-loaded walks and, sandwiched in between, a suicide squeeze during which Radziewski misplayed the ball and had no play.
With the bases still loaded and one out, Nick Ratajczak sliced a line drive down left-field line and to the wall that scored all three baserunners.
