DAVIE, Fla. (WSVN) — Good news for two horses found sick and starving.
A veterinarian checked out Lucky and Tess earlier today at Peaceful Ridge Rescue in Davie and has given them a good chance of recovering.
Lucky, who was found severely emaciated, remains on a special feeding and medication plan.
Both horses were confiscated by authorities from Southwest Ranches Monday after they received complaints from neighbors.
No charges have been filed.
