Toston Burger from Pincho Factory

5 oz. of certified angus ground chuckseasoning spice or salt and pepperpeanut oil, to deep fry2 slices of muenster cheese2 thin slices tomato1 small piece of romaine lettuce2 tostones (smashed green plantain)1 Tbs. of cilantro infused mayonnaise1 Tbs. of roasted garlic sauce1 cup of french fries

Method of Preparation:

-Start by seasoning the ground meat with salt and pepper or your favorite seasoning. At the restaurant, they have their own secret spice mix. Then, form a meat patty.

-Next, add a drizzle of oil over a flat top grill or sauté pan and cook the burger.

-When its almost done, add a few slices of muenster cheese on top and let it melt.

-In the meantime, deep fry the tostones. Tostones are smashed green plantains. You can purchase them frozen ready to cook or make them from scratch.

To Plate:

Place the burger over a fried plantain and top it with sliced tomato and romaine lettuce. Chef Nedal also add his cilantro infused mayonnaise and a roasted garlic sauce. Finish the burger with another fried plantain slice and a side of french fries.
