Stash Wardrobe Rental

Posted: Updated:

WSVN -- Shhh!! We've got a fabulous fashion secret and it's a place called "Stash!"

Teddy Gunter, Co-owner, Stash: "When I thought of the name Stash, I just thought it's great because it's a place where it's secret and things are hidden. That's what it says in the dictionary and I just thought that's exactly what this is."

Since I've never been too good at keeping secrets, here's the dish. Stash is a wardrobe rental spot hidden away in an art studio warehouse in the Miami Design District. It's packed to the brim with spectacular clothes and accessories that fashion genius Danny Santiago has been collecting for decades!

Danny Santiago, Co-owner, Stash: "From what was a small collection that was in the extra bedroom in my house has now turned into a warehouse of clothing and I have thousands of thousands of pieces."

Danny has been a stylist and costume designer for 25 years and he's got a lot of street credit for his work.

Danny Santiago: "I had the pleasure of working with Patricia Fields, on the Sex and the City Movies. I did "Confessions of a Shopaholic" and on my own I started doing TV. I do the TV show Burn Notice."

You may recognize these beauties in his collection, they were worn in both Sex and the City movies. As for the rest of the warehouse, it's filled with vintage and designer clothing, accessories and jewelry.

Teddy Gunter: "I'm an archivist of everything fabulous we have here. So they're all by color, these are red colors, peach, yellow, black base prints."

Co-owner and stylist Teddy Gunter brings calm to the chaos of clothes. She and other fashion students have the know-how to help you put together a one-of-a kind outfit for any occasion!

Teddy Gunter: "You can really find anything from top designers to a dress from the 40's, authentic dresses from the 20's, to a lady Gaga Halloween costume."

Attending a swanky pool party? No problem!

Danny Santiago: "Our pool party girl has on sort of a Bohemian chic look, if you want to make an impression and come to a pool party going on a boat, it's a great look to wear."

Want to outshine the tie-guys at any special occasion?

Danny Santiago: "His look is more of a 70's inspired, it's kind of like what Tom Ford is doing right now for men. Very fitted, wide lapel, tuxedo jacket from the 1970's bigger thicker bow tie."

Best part, you just rent and return.

Teddy Gunter: "It's like checking out a book from the library, except your checking out an outfit. All of us are stylist who work here, so not only do you come and rent your outfit, you're getting expertise."

Fashion without all the commitment and hard work, I like it!

They'll help you put together a one-of-a-kind outfit from head to toe for about $200.
