WSVN -- Michelle Vazquez should be sick of eating donuts. She gets up before dawn every day to make dozens of them, but if you see her shuttling around Miami in her delivery van, you'll probably catch her enjoying a donut on the road.
Michelle Vazquez: "For some reason I don't get sick of them. I can eat them every day. I have at least one a day, sometimes two."
The former executive recently left the business world behind and started a donut delivery business called Mandarin Gourmet Donut Shoppe.
Michelle Vazquez: "I did go to doughnut school. It does exist in a place called Manhatten, Kansas."
Looks like donut school really paid off because Michelle's donuts are not your plain Jane 'glazed' or 'chocolate.'
Michelle Vazquez: "We have anything from a marscopone cheese and blueberry doughnut, to a marshmallow donut, a guava and cheese donut."
Just like all the donut makers before her, she has a not-so-secret-weapon to form the perfect donut.
Michelle Vazquez: "This is the secret to making doughnuts. This little contraption here is the same way it's looked for the last 50 years. Press down firmly, give a little twist. You get a nice round donut."
Michelle roams all over Miami-Dade County and she'll drop off her delicious donuts at your home.
You can also have them delivered for a party or at your office.
As you can imagine they were a huge hit at a recent early morning meeting at the W Hotel on South Beach.
Jasmett Santana: "There's so many colors and fun. There's everything for everyone."
Chris Leavitt: "It was like a smorgasbord of doughnuts. I couldn't believe all these different flavors."
All of her donuts are organic and made with trans fat-free oil, and seasonal fruit so you don't have to feel quite as bad about eating more than one.
Jasmett Santana: "They're not as heavy on your stomach as other doughnuts. I don't feel guilty. I just had several doughnuts, and I still feel like I can still eat."
Chris Leavitt: "We are making this an every Friday morning thing."
Donuts can definitely make the day hole lot better.
The donuts start at about $1.50 each. You'll want to order your donuts 24 hours in advance so they'll be fresh.
