Elysium - Matt Damon

Posted: Updated:
Matt Damon fights to stay alive in the sci-fi thriller "Elysium" and if Matt had to talk about the movie, he'd definitely say...MATT DAMON: "Its the greatest movie ever made."That's  probably because he's in it, right?MATT DAMON: "I'm the greatest person of all time."He may be joking, but we totally agree Matt's one of the most versatile actors out there. He can do it all. MATT DAMON: "Like to not have to do the same thing every day, you know? And I like that I get to do it all, that's the best part, I think. Some actors end up getting pidgeon-holed and they end up doing the same thing over and over, and I didn't want that to ever happen and I've been really lucky that it hasn't."But some credit must be given to the movie's director Neill Blomkamp. MATT DAMON: "He's only done one other movie, and I think he's proving to be somebody to be reckoned with."That one other movie award winning "District 9."Elysium has a similar vibe to "District 9" but without the aliens instead, Matt's character has five days to get a cure for his disease. MATT DAMON: "The bucket list would get pretty short I think if you only have five days because you know time would just become so much more precious even than it is."In the movie Matt's busy fighting all five days. But in real life? He says he'd focus on his family.MATT DAMON: "Oh, besides that, what else would there be to do?"I think I'd spend all my remaining time eating all the things I shouldn't eat, but that's' just me. MATT DAMON: "Do I really wanna spend time eating? Do I really wanna spend time going to the drive through right now. Its gonna take me 10 minutes to get there, its gonna take me 10 minutes to get back."I guess that's why Matt's a world famous actor, and I'm Shireen Sandoval queen of the chicken wing. Did I just say that?
