Despicable Me 2

Posted: Updated:
The once despicable Gru is back but he doesn't really seem himself.Steve Carell -  "He's not as Despicable as he once was."In "Despicable Me 2," Gru has traded his villain life for being a full time dad. Steve - "He's no longer a super villain. He's trying to go legit. And he has come up with a line of jams and jellys to sell which apparently aren't that tasty."Everything changes when he gets a new top secret assignment from the anti-villain league. His recruitment officer, played by Kristen Wiig becomes his new partner in crime. Kristen Wiig - "She is sort of bringing him back into that world and she's very excited about everything."The two team up to bring down a super villain played by Benjamin Bratt. Who by the way, gets hotter every time we see him. Benjamin Bratt - "Warm? Should I damp down? oh got it.. I'm with you. Why thank you, why thank you doctor."Ben's hottness is translated into his character's hot temper.  Even if its not apparent at first. Benjamin - "He's a guy who's very, very Latin, and very larger than life and exshuberant. Quick to hug. Quick to dance. He's got a son just a really affable, friendly guy." But Gru's instincts tell him this guy may be really, really despicable. Benjamin - "He may well be also the most super villain in the world ... and that's El Macho, a guy who is presumed dead over 20 years ago, who is the most macho villain the world."So is Gru right or are things not what they seem? Maybe the minions know.I'm Shireen, "don't ever ask the minions anything again" Sandoval.
