No. 24 Miami taking upbeat approach into Duke week

CORAL GABLES, Fla. (AP) - Miami coach Al Golden says he isn't changing the approach he had a month ago, even with his Hurricanes on a two-game losing streak.

Golden says the Hurricanes had to get better even when they were ranked No. 7 in the nation. And he's reiterating it now, with his team down to No. 24 in the rankings and having lost control of the Atlantic Coast Conference's Coastal Division.

Even losing two straight games hasn't taken away all of Miami's goals. The Hurricanes (7-2, 3-2 ACC) haven't had a double-digit victory season since 2003, and chasing that mark has become a rallying cry in the locker room.

Miami visits Duke (7-2, 3-2) this Saturday.
