TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) - Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher is trying not to let the investigation of quarterback Jameis Winston for an alleged sexual assault disrupt the Seminoles' season.

Fisher says the task for the second-ranked Seminoles is to stay focused and not let off-the-field issues affect their efforts on the field.

On Saturday, they'll try to push the investigation aside for a few more hours when they host Syracuse Orange (5-4, 3-2 Atlantic Coast Conference) in an ACC matchup.

Fisher says Syracuse likes to run and, "They'll pound you then all of a sudden, boom, there's a big one. ... It's their mentality. It's their attitude."

The Seminoles front-seven will be tested by running back Jerome Smith and the No. 2 rush offense in the ACC.
