FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Friends and family of missing Florida State University student Ryan Uhre, who has been missing for two weeks, will hold a prayer vigil this weekend in hopes of his safe return.

The prayer vigil will take place Sunday at Fort Lauderdale Beach, on the south side, next to the Yankee Clipper, at 6 p.m.

The 23-year-old, who is described by his father as "a smart kid" with dreams of becoming a lawyer has not been seen since Super Bowl Sunday. He was last known to have visited Andrew's Capital Grill and Bar, near the FSU campus, in Tallahassee. What happened after that remains a mystery because no one has seen him since.

"It's unfathomable, it's heartbreaking," said Uhre's father, Mike Uhre. "His phone has been turned off. There has been no contact with family or friends since Sunday night."

Family and friends continue to hold on to hope while officials continue their investigations in South Florida and Tallahassee.

If you have any information on the whereabouts of Ryan Uhre, call Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS. Remember, you can always remain anonymous, and you may be eligible for a reward.
