MIAMI (WSVN) -- At least three people have been hospitalized after the driver of a car somehow lost control and crashed into a South Florida catering business.

The accident happened at about 5 a.m., Friday, along Northwest 79th Street and Northwest Miami Place. Police responded to the scene after receiving a call of a white car slamming into Delishe, which is owned by celebrity chef David Whyko. "I just got into work at about 4:30 a.m. and was in the back of the kitchen just getting ready, was about to come out to make some coffee and ... bang!" Whyko said as he described the loud noise.

Surveillance video shows the driver losing control of the vehicle, careening into the front wall of the business. The impact shattered glass panes throughout the building. "The worst part is a glass flew out and went straight across the room, so it's awful, but you know, God is good," said Whyko.

Whyko was at work early in the morning when the car impacted his business. "Today being Valentine's Day, out of all days, you know, I have to get ready for all of my clients, so yeah, I came in extra early this morning." said Whyko.

Video shows the driver momentarily exiting the vehicle, before getting back into the car. Rescue crews transported the men to Northshore Hospital where their conditions remain unknown.

Whyko has served meals for the rich and famous. "I have a large follow right here in Miami," said Whyko. "I use to be a private chef for Lenny Kravitz for 12 years, so I have a lot of celebrity clienteles here in Miami."

It is unclear what caused the driver to lose control.

The business has since been boarded up and chef Whyko is reportedly busy preparing meals for Valentine's Day. He is grateful no one was seriously hurt.

Police continue investigating.
