MIAMI (WSVN) -- Police are looking for a crook who was caught on camera taking a pricey lamp from a Brickell lighting store.

The man, who was wearing a white shirt, can be seen looking around ARE Lighting in Brickell, located off Southwest Eighth Street and First Avenue, last Friday. He could be seen kneeling down and picking up a blue lamp. The man then put the lamp into his bag and walked out of the store.

"You can see how, in the video, the person leaned towards this side, gets on his knee, grabs the fixture, goes a little bit further to the corner while we're busy with other customers, and he just put it in his bag," ARE Manager Gustavo Tello said.

The small Italian lamp retails at $450.

Tello said he is concerned the crook may strike again. "We're not only concerned about what happened but that this person, walked around so freely afterwards, that he might come back," Tello said.

Miami Police are currently investigating the case. "It's the first time I see this person in the store, but the body language he did after he made the shoplift, I think he might be coming back," Tello said. "He might figure it out that we might not have seen that he took something from us."

If you have any information on the whereabouts of this man, call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. Remember, you can always remain anonymous, and you may be eligible for a reward.
