Local school put on lockdown

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) -- A South Florida school was put on lockdown after reports of an illegal trespasser.

Skyforce HD hovered over the scene in Fort Lauderdale after officials put Dillard High School on lockdown.

Police set up a perimeter near Northwest 25th Avenue and 11th Street after reports of someone illegally trespassing on school property.

Officials finally caught up to the person who was taken into police custody and the lockdown was lifted.
