Toxins found in future Coconut Grove park

Posted: Updated:

MIAMI (WSVN) -- There are more contamination concerns at another South Florida park currently being built in Coconut Grove.

Soil tests taken at the 12-acre waterfront parcel that will soon be called Coconut Grove's Regatta Park confirmed the presence of arsenic, chromium and other toxins.

Tests also confirmed arsenic in the groundwater.

This is the eighth park that has been contaminated discovered since last summer.
