Commission adopts plans to improve road safety

Posted: Updated:

MIAMI (WSVN) -- The Miami-Dade Commission has adopted a resolution to try and improve bicycle and pedestrian safety in South Florida.

The Commission has ordered a study to see if speed limits can be reduced on certain streets and new bike lanes constructed.

Commissioner Pepe Diaz sponsored the move following the death of cyclist Aaron Cohen.

Cohen was killed in February of 2012 on the Rickenbacker Causeway by a hit-and-run driver.

I mean, I wanna look good and feel good, but I don't wanna give up taste. I just found a healthy new joint that's both delicious and has me seriously considering becoming a vegan.
