BOCA RATON, Fla. (WSVN) -- A man was taken to the hospital after he was shot by an off-duty deputy, early Saturday morning.

Officials said the officer shot the man in the pool area of the Reflections of Boca Del Mar complex in Boca Raton after, according to the law enforcer, the man tried to hit him with a glass bottle.

Investigators said the incident allegedly started when the deputy, who lives at the complex, spotted the man having sex with a woman in the pool and tried to get them to stop. The couple, who does not live in the area, left the premises but returned a short time later. The male suspect approached the deputy while holding the bottle and an altercation ensued, which led the officer to discharge his firearm.

The injured man was taken to Delray Medical Center, where is listed in critical condition.

The deputy is on administrative leave while the case is under investigation.

Kindness and charm, unlike the people that live in Sin City, and i'm not talking about Vegas either. Things have changed in the town of Sin as in the motion picture while others have stayed the same. The cast of the movie told Deco what's new in part two.?

This year's Miami Spice could use a phone book just to list the restaurants taking part, more than a hundred. Which means filling up on three courses for only $39 bucks. And at some places, that means saving a whole lot of money.
