ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — Authorities say a medical helicopter has crashed near the landing pad atop University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque.
It’s not immediately clear whether there are any injuries, and it’s unknown what may have caused the crash Wednesday afternoon.
Images of the scene show the helicopter on its side with several firefighters on the roof and the entire area soaked with water.
The tail section of the helicopter was damaged and can be seen over the edge of the roof.
