MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (WSVN) -- A South Florida family is reeling after, investigators said, their home was ransacked by burglars on the same day they were preparing a party.

Miami Gardens Police were called to the family's home on the 17700 block of Northwest 33rd Court, Saturday afternoon. Homeowner Lisa Willington said her residence was targeted by thieves while she was at work. "They took my wedding band, [they opened] my safe with my documents," she said.

According to neighbors, there were four men involved in the break-in. "They saw them running up the street with my flat-screen TV," said Willington.

The homeowner said the perpetrators took off not just with expensive jewelry and electronics, but with her family's passports, social security cards and birth certificates. "I work hard for what I have, so it is unfair for these persons to infringe on my privacy, and my documents are very important to me," she said.

Willington said the timing of the burglary is unfortunate because she was getting ready to celebrate two birthdays and an anniversary with family and friends. Nevertheless, she added, the incident was not going to prevent her family from going forward with multiple celebrations. "Whoever came inside the house, you're not going to stop my fun," she said.

Willington requested to whoever broke into her home to return her valuables. "Please return my stuff," she said. "You don't have to stop, just throw it over the fence tonight, midnight, anytime. It doesn't matter, just return my stuff."

If you have any information on this home burglary, call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. Remember, you can always remain anonymous, and you may be eligible for a reward.

You know what they say about a man that has a big foot and long hair? Yeah, that they would make a really good Hercules. And while Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock has big feet, well he needed a little help in the hair department. Tonight The Rock is talking about how he became Hercules; everything from his feet, hair and to that fabulous body.
