Police searching for gas station robber

MIAMI (WSVN) -- Police is asking for the public's help in tracking down a man who robbed a Miami gas station.

The armed man stormed the BP on Southwest 37th Avenue and 16th Street Tuesday morning. Police said he fired one shot before driving away from the scene in a black Nissan Altima.

The thief was last scene wearing a black mask, leather jacket, jeans and red Converse shoes.

If you have any information on this robbery, call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. Remember, you can always remain anonymous, and you may be eligible for a reward.
