SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Surveillance cameras rolled as an out-of-control driver hit the gas and plowed through the front entrance of a South Florida convenience store, Thursday night.

Employees and customers inside the store located at the Chevron gas station on Southwest 69th Avenue and Coral Way were suddenly startled when the driver of a white GMC Safari crashed into the business around 8:45 p.m. "I was very scared, scared me a lot," said Julio, one of two employees working at the time of the accident.

Julio said one of the three customers inside the store was surprised by the sudden crash. "The other customer, a lady, was there and she [was] screaming," he said.

"The guy come quickly, so quickly," said Yolanda Rodriguez, who witnessed the accident. "So he don't stop. He goes inside like this."

Security footage confirms Rodriguez' account. The video shows the van never stopped at the door but crashed right through it. "And he passed everything. He passed. He go. He don't stop," said Rodriguez.

An exterior camera showed the van plowing through a red cement pylon meant to warn drivers. Roughly half of the vehicle made it inside the store before it came to a stop.

Rodriguez said her reflexes kicked in when she saw the van. "I [crouched] like that, you know, and [there were] three [customers] inside," she said.

According to a witness, all five people inside the store were located away from the point of impact. No one was hurt, including the driver.

"Thank God nothing happened," said Julio.

According to a store employee, the driver of the van was cited for careless driving. His vehicle was later towed from the scene.

By Friday afternoon, all the debris had been cleared. Workers erected a makeshift storefront made out of Plexiglas and wood while they wait for the rest of the glass to come in.

You can work up a great big hunger when you're an action hero, especially if you're playing a guy who's half man, half god. Dwyane "The Rock" Johnson gets really hungry in his latest movie, "Hercules." Our So-Flo homeboy had to stay pretty jacked for the role. That meant watching his diet, but when it was finally time to let loose, he knew just where to go.

Food trucks are a way of life in New York City. But not just for foodies looking to sample some new ethnic cuisine.
Within minutes, the line at the food truck parked on a busy Queens thoroughfare extended several people deep. Hipster foodies looking to sample vegan pizzas or fusion tacos?
