The Amazing Spider-Man 2

Posted: Updated:

"The Amazing Spider-Man 2" stars some of the hottest up and coming actors in Hollywood, or as Deco's Shireen Sandoval likes to call them, really cute boys, and apparently she's weaving her web of intriguing questions around them.

Sure at the heart of Spider-Man there's a love story between Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy. I'm not one to be jealous but in the Deco plex they do call me the black widow. Anyhow, tonight I'm hanging with the boys of Spider-Mar 2. The good and the bad, which one do you like?

There are two really cute boys in "The Amazing Spider-Man 2." The first Andrew Garfield, who plays Spidey himself and apparently, he's an original.

Shireen: "Rumor has it that your first Halloween costume may have something to do with this movie?"

Andrew Garfield: "Yes. Spider-Man was my first Halloween costume when I was two and a half. Yeah, it was my first Halloween costume and my mom made it by hand, beautifully."

Second, Dane Dehaan. He plays Peter Parker's best friend turned nemisis, the Green Goblin.

Dane Dehaan: "I'm seeing Peter for the first time, and my dying dad for the first time and there is just a lot going on in my life, and I have to take my life into my own hands and things get complicated."

Shireen: "Duh, duh duh."

The two throw down when Spidey has to save the world from the evil company, Oscorp. Believe it or not, Andrew didn't wanna play Spidey all straight.

Shireen: "The physical comedy was important for you, what did you do to prepare for that?"

Andrew Garfield: "We found a fantastic physical comedy director called Cal McCrystal, who is a British physical comedian, in the vein of Chaplan and Buster Keaton, Bugs Bunny and all that good stuff."

He did indeed find Peter's inner trickster.

Andrew Garfield: "So there was a lot of rehearsal, and just ideas coming up with sequences for Peter and a few of them are actually in the movie, I'm proud to say."

Dane didn't wanna let down comic book fans because they're fanatic.

Shireen: "And they also like it when an actor is a fan as well, did you grow up with comic books?"

Dane Dehaan: "My dad is still a huge fan boy he collects action figures."

Shireen: "He does?"

Dane Dehaan: "Yeah."

Shireen: "Wait, wait, where does he keep the action figures."

Dane Dehaan: "He has this lower level in his house that he calls his man cave."

Shireen: "Ah, got it."

Dane Dehaan: "It's literally lined with action figures."

Dane Dehaan: "A 3D TV and a princess leigh dart board."

His wife must be a saint. While Andrew is busy with Spidey 3. Dane is spreading his wings.

Shireen: "You're a very well trained actor for some reason I always think you're English, but I know you went to school in North Carolina. You play very serious roles, but you do have a comedy coming up, correct?"

Dane Dehaan: "Yeah I do."

Shireen: "Tell me about it."

Dane Dehaan: It's called, LIFE after Beth. We like to call it zom, drom, rom, com."

For now, though you can enjoy the dueling duo in "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" in theaters Friday.

Don't miss my one-on-one interview with the woman that Spider-Man loves, in his web and out Emma Stone ater this week on Deco.
