The Amazing Spider-Man 2 - Emma Stone

Posted: Updated:

Emma Stone has gone from a Southwest girl -- she's originally from Arizona -- to a global movie star and glamorous fashion muse. Tonight, she chats with Deco's Shireen Sandoval about film, fashion and why everyone will absolutely love "The Amazing Spider-Man 2."

Emma Stone has spent almost a year of her life between "The Amazing Spider-Man" 1 and 2 playing Peter Parker's go-to gal. And she wouldn't have it any other way.

Not only has she grown as an actress playing Gwen Stacy, she also met Andrew Garfield, her co-star on screen and now in real life. Plus, she's traveled the world.

Shireen: "You have been traveling around the world promoting "Spider-Man 2." What has been the most interesting thing about it? And how have fans reacted so far?"

Emma Stone: "The most interesting thing about traveling with Spider-Man is that he's such an international symbol. It doesn't matter where you are; people are crazy for Spider-Man."

And she does mean everywhere.

Emma Stone: "We've been to lots of places, Australia, all over Asia, Europe, and everyone loves this character. I think everyone on the planet can relate to him."

Apparently, they relate to Emma, too, because she's one of the hottest young actresses in Hollywood. Not only is she a great actress, she's a glamour girl and loves to get dressed up for the red carpet. So, has she ever had a fashion moment when...?

Shireen: "Everything came together, and you just adored and loved the look?"

Emma Stone: "Yeah, yeah, there's been a few things like that, and it's always fun and always collaborative."

Emma even scored this month's cover of Vogue magazine. Can you say supermodel?

Emma Stone: "We kind of create full characters when I get to go to one of those events, cause you're borrowing the dress, and it's like this little vignette. It is fun, fun creating the whole look and trying different things. I've had a few I've really loved."

Whether it's film or fashion, one thing's for sure: Emma does it all with style.

I'll never forget the endless summers I spent on the coast of North Carolina. My shoulders were always kissed by the sun, my hair was continually salty from the ocean and my one-piece, bright blue bathing suit was my constant companion.

I don't remember dying, but I did. Twice. It was a chilly Fall morning in October at a dentist's office in Santa Fe. My mom had escorted me to what was supposed to be a regular wisdom teeth extraction appointment.
