MIAMI (AP) -- Miami Marlins rookie right-hander Anthony DeSclafani has left their game against Oakland with a bruised right forearm, and his status is day to day.

DeSclafani was hit in the arm by a line drive in the first inning by Brandon Moss that went for an infield hit. DeSclafani continued to pitch but left the game after three innings trailing 2-0.

DeSclafani, who was making his fifth career start, left with an ERA of 7.40.
