Family robbed in Miami Gardens while doing yard work

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (WSVN) -- One South Florida family had a scare after they were targeted by thieves outside their home, Friday.

The victims said they were doing yard work when someone stole a gold chain. The incident happened on Northwest 178th Street near 33rd Court.

The thief got away.

No one was hurt.
