POMPANO BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- The Broward Sheriff's Office is searching for a man who, they said, stole over 30 bottles of liquor from wholesale clubs across South Florida.

Officials said the subject targeted a Costco on Sample Road in Pompano Beach on two occasions, as well as a BJ's Wholesale Club in Parkland and liquor stores in Boca Raton and Davie. "He just walks in as if he were a customer, goes right for the liquor that he's looking for, fills up the case if it's not full all the way, and then walks out very casually, walks right past the registers," said BSO spokesperson Gina Carter.

Surveillance cameras captured the subject walking out of the Pompano Beach Costco with a case containing 12 bottles of Patrón Tequila. On his second alleged liquor theft in Costco, authorities said the suspect took off with Grey Goose Vodka.

Investigators said the subject acts quickly and has an intimidating physique. "This is a very strong, striking individual," said Carter. "Anyone who sees him committing the crime is going to be hesitant to try to stop him."

The man was caught on surveillance video driving a gold-toned 2000 Honda Accord at multiple locations.

If you have any information on this thief's whereabouts, call Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS. Remember, you can always remain anonymous, and you may be eligible for a reward.
