FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) — Crews are on the scene of an accident involving an overturned tractor trailer near Port Everglades, Thursday afternoon.
Officials said the refrigerated food distribution truck was coming around a curved road in the area of 3318 S.E. 6th Ave., just north of Interstate 595, when the driver lost control and overturned, winding up on its side. The accident took place around 4:45 p.m.
Officials said the truck’s generator is still running, so the food will not be damaged. There was a small fuel spill that was quickly contained.
The driver was was not hurt.
