WSVN — There are some cool, new dinner options cooking up on Collins! A Big Apple favorite is moving into the Magic City and a South Beach icon is switching the social scene up to help locals really relax. 7’s Belkys Nerey is checking both out in Tonight’s Style File.

Chef Molly Brandt: “The first and third Thursday of each month, tucked behind the famous pool at the Raleigh South Beach, you’ll find bonfires, beer and barbecue! Let’s have some cold beer with some of the people that we love here in Miami.”

The Raleigh South Beach is taking a more rustic approach to a night out with Buck’s Beer Garden and Bonfire!”

Thomas Meding: “You can come in jeans and flip flops. You can sit around the fire. You can have great beer.”

The oasis is transformed with lawn games like Cornhole, Jenga and ping pong. And local breweries are keeping you cool with their specialty beer served up for five tickets purchased at the Buck’s Bucks ticket counter!

Virginia Gill: “It’s really nice. It’s actually a lot more chill than I thought it was going to be.”

When the sun goes down, gather around the fire and indulge in homemade s’more kits! Or settle into a picnic table and chow down on the smörgåsbord of Michael’s Genuine selected foods all prepared to perfection by executive chef Molly Brandt.

Chef Molly Brandt: “There’s chorizo and Nürnberger sausages, Bavarian, smoky and bratwurst.”

Bonfire and barbecue not your thing? Well, how about something a little more glamorous, like the newly opened Quality Meats here on South Beach. Sure, meat is in the name of this new restaurant, but don’t let that name fool you, because there’s something here for everybody!

The old Bancroft Hotel has been transformed into a swanky steak house served up with some South Beach influences!

Michael Baccaro: “A contemporary steak house with a new age flare.”

I loved how they brought out the potatoes steaming and it was like a presentation, almost a show, when they brought it out.”

Everything from the meats and the potatoes to the desserts — and even the signature steak sauce is presented in phenomenal fashion!

Michael Baccaro: “We like to feature the butcher’s cut items, specifically for two.”

Indulge in the house-cured slab of bacon or the parmesan waffle fries before digging in to the massive tomahawk rib steak. On the lighter side, the everything crusted branzino or the ceviche will still satisfy your tummy’s needs!

Customer: “It tastes a little bit like Miami, actually. It’s really good!”

Lavish libations are catching fire at the bar! Sip on the Lose Cannon, a tequila concoction poured over jalapeno ice cubes!

Michael Baccaro: “We’re trying to take what we’ve cemented in New York City and bring that feel down to Miami.”

Customer: “It just feels young and fun and the service is great.”

Quality Meats is open for dinner seven nights a week, so make your reservations. And the Raleigh lights up their bonfires every first and third Thursday each month!
