ATLANTA (WSVN) — Rapper Rick Ross has been arrested a second time this month on charges of aggravated assault, kidnapping and aggravated battery.

Investigator said the assault happened after an altercation at the rapper’s home in Fayette County. Police said they arrested Ross, whose real name is William Roberts, early Wednesday morning for outstanding warrants.

According to sources, the rapper was having work done on his property, when he allegedly pistol whipped one of the workers during a fight.

The rapper’s bodyguard was also arrested. Both have been charged with kidnapping and aggravated battery.

Ross and his bodyguard will be held at the Fayette County jail as they await their initial appearance and bond hearing.

Ross was arrested on June 10 after a traffic violation and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. He was released from jail later that night.
