CANADA (WSVN) — An Air Canada pilot diverted an international flight to help save a dog.

The pilot was flying from Tel Aviv to Toronto, Sunday, when he diverted the flight and noticed one of the cargo hold heaters not working properly. When he went to check, he found a 7-year-old French bulldog named Simba in danger of freezing to death.

The pilot then diverted the flight to Frankfurt, where Simba and his grateful owner caught another flight.
