So at the start of 2015 I thought it would be fun to start this "Bite with Belkys Blog". I love going to dinner with friends, trying new foods, there’s always a new place to try so I figured "why not?" I don’t think of myself as a food critic by any means, but I can certainly tell you guys what’s new in town and what I thought was tasty. You should know everything I write about I’ve tried. There’s no blog staff eating out every night. It’s just me and my iPhone for the pics.
It’s been 11 months of eating out, trying to keep up with blogging once a week (every Thursday we try to post a new one) and I’ve enjoyed every minute. I’m not gonna lie, some places have been better than others but, to me, that doesn’t really matter. Whether you go to high end restaurants on special occasions, hit your local diner or just try making the "Bite with Belkys" recipes at home, taking the time to break bread and enjoy the company of those you love the most, is what it’s about.
