It’s the most wonderful time of the year……

No not Christmas silly!

The South Beach Wine and Food Festival.

Can you believe they’ve been at it for 15 years? I remember when the festival was just a couple of tasting tents on the beach. Now it’s celebrity-chef-central with dozens of events to choose from like the Amstel Light Burger Bash presented by Schweid & Sons hosted by festival fan favorite Rachael Ray, Andrew Carmellini’s Chicken Coupe, and the Goya Foods Swine & Wine event at the Biltmore Hotel. There are lots of events to choose from. Whether you like the big tasting events under the white tents on South Beach, or the more intimate brunches/lunches and dinners hosted by your favorite chefs, the schedule offers something for every appetite.

Swine & Wine in Coral Gables was the first event to take place off of Miami Beach. Now this year to celebrate their "quinces" the SOBEWFF is heading North and introducing the Taste of Fort Lauderdale Series. Beginning Wednesday February 24th the Seaside Eats event hosted by Food Network’s Robert Irvine kicks of the party in Broward. It’s the first of many SOBEWFF experiences taking place at several Ft. Lauderdale restaurants. So now our friends to the north can stop their whining and start their wine-ing!

Can’t wait. See you at the SOBEWFF!!!
