KEY WEST, Fla. (WSVN) — Divers in Key West helped install an underwater art gallery over the weekend.

Saturday and Sunday, divers helped plant photos on the deck of the 523-foot Gen. Hoyt S. Vandenberg, a former U.S. Navy transport ship. The Vandenberg, now the world’s second largest artificial reef, lies about seven miles south of Key West, more than 90 feet below the surface.

The images in the gallery, showing women gossiping over a picnic and twirling umbrellas, represent a flamboyant era of European style and cultural history.
