MIAMI (WSVN) — Three Florida fugitives were found after their boat capsized off the coast of Cuba.
Two men and a woman were spotted by a Disney cruise ship. The trio was seen clinging on to the overturned vessel.
After the three were pulled on board, the coast guard was called. One of the men and the woman, Luis Rivera-Garcia and Juliet Estrada-Perez, were wanted for credit card fraud in Florida and Louisiana. The third person was wanted for similar crimes.
All three were turned over to U.S. Marshals. Officials believe they were trying to escape to Cuba to avoid arrest.
