HOLLYWOOD, Fla. (WSVN) — Students at Boulevard Heights Elementary spent time with a special guest, Monday morning.

Broward County Superintendent Robert Runcie read to students at Boulevard Heights Elementary School in Hollywood, Fla.

This event promotes literary skills with students in the county. "We’re here at one of our best schools, Boulevard Heights," said Runcie. "Just had a really great morning with the kids. They’re really passionate and excited about any opportunity they can to read."

Runcie was joined by Broward Hispanic Unity CEO Josie Bacallao.
