All Eyes on Isaac....
Isaac is soaking the Lesser Antilles and is headed towards the Caribbean Sea. Isaac is bringing tropical storm force winds to the Islands with the possibility of 4-8 inches of rainfall over the Northern Windward Islands and the Leeward Island and a total of 1-3 inches with maximum amounts of 6 inches are possible over Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. These heavy rain could cause flash floods or mudslides. Storm Surge will be a big issue as waters levels could raise as much as 1-3 feet above normal tide levels. This system as of the 11 am advisory has winds sustained at 45mph and is moving to the west at 21mph. This system has most of Florida in the forecast path so now is the time to prepare.
And a new Depression has developed over the Eastern Tropical Atlantic. Tropical Depression Ten has winds sustained at 35mph and is located 860 miles W/SW of the Cape Verde Islands. The forecast cone has this system moving west for more staying over the Atlantic.
