South Florida is chilling out this morning by breaking out the sweaters and jackets! We have high pressure in place over the middle part of the United States allowing our winds to be out of the North-Northwest filtering in the chilly air. The forecast is calling for one more chilly night... This time not the low 50s... this time the upper 50s. Still chilly by South Florida standards.
The strong area of high pressure we have in place will weaken slightly over the weekend as it slides off the Carolina coast on Saturday. This will shift the wind out of the Northeast. It will turn breezy and the possibility of seeing passing clouds along the coast with maybe a shower is in the forecast. Overall looking great and warmer where highs will reach into the low 80s.
By next Tuesday, there will be a better chance for showers due to yet another cold set to move in.
Tropical Update: All is quiet.
Have a great Thursday and make it a safe one!
