Front Hangs Around
Posted by Vivian Gonzalez
Yes we are half way through the week!
A weak front continues to hang around Central Florida. This front should have little to no consequence to our weather. It should fizzle by Thursday morning as high pressure will remain in place. This area of high pressure will keep our air flow out of the Northeast allowing for spotty showers at times.
By Friday night another cold front will be on the move and cross through early Saturday. Right now the latest models run is adding the chance of a shower or two ahead of this front. The other thing they are picking up on... is cooler weather! Yes you heard that right. Another dose of cool weather South Florida style. It looks like a cool breeze from the North will allow cool air to filter through. The temperatures will fall into the low 60s to upper 50s and it seems like it will be cool for much of next week. The question is... will we continue with the same type of weather through Thanksgiving? It is too early to tell.
Have a wonderful Wednesday South Florida and make it a safe one!

Our Weekend Warm-up
We were spoiled with a mild start to the week as the air was drier and the highs were below normal. Over the next few days, it will be hot with more humidity as we reach seasonal afternoon heat. The dome of warm air that has not budged will bring the peak heat of the upper 80s with a chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms over the next few days.

I hope you've enjoyed our recent mild temps teamed up with drier air. A dome of warm air will push the mercury readings into the ballpark of our 87° average over the next couple of days. A cold front sweeping to the north will add more clouds to the scenery with a slight chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms into next week.

High pressure will keep us mostly dry under sunny skies and enjoying mild temps for this time of year. You can thank a huge dome of high pressure sitting over us for the lovely conditions. High pressure after all, is your fair-weather friend.
